It may not sound like it, but scientists from Turin University claim penguins speak like humans. Just like us, these adorable birds have learned to shorten the words they utilize the most as it makes communication much easier. This way of ‘speaking’, until now, has only been discovered in some primates apart from humans. Scientists believe penguins use shortened words because it’s more efficient longer sounds.
