Pune arts director commits suicide after posting a farewell video

Before committing suicide, Rajesh Maruti Sapte posted a video of his suicide note on social media. Sapte detailed the alleged abuse he received from an office-bearer of the Film Studio Setting and Allied Mazdoor Union in his suicide letter. In addition, Sapte stated that he had chosen to commit himself in protest of this. Sapte has worked as an art director on several Marathi and Hindi films. His suicide has caused a stir in the industry.
