Advocates of Portland Maine gained a small victory as the city passes referendum question B that's designed to curb government and police use of facial recognition technology. This is one of the 4 progressive measures passed last night in the city. San Francisco, Boston were the other cities to pass similar legislation back in September. Another successful measure includes a $15/hourminimum wage& a cap on rent increases.
