'Om' printed doormats on Amazon spark mass furore, Boycott Amazon trends on social media

After jewellery brand Tanishq, e-retail giant Amazon was at the receiving end of the Indian population over a product ad. Some netizens spotted doormats printed with the spiritual symbol of ‘Om’ selling on Amazon and it sparked a massive row resulting in #BoycottAmazon trending on several social media platforms. A green coloured mat with a symbol of 'Om' in white and green color combination was seen on a foreign version of Amazon.
