New study says Human-made materials now outweigh entire biomass of earth

According to the latest study conducted by researchers from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, the Earth's entire biomass is now outweighed by human-made materials. The mass of human-made materials has increased drastically since the 20th century. The study carried out by Ron Milo and his colleagues reveals that the human-made mass has reached a whopping 1.1 teratonnes where 1 teratonne is 1 trillion tonnes.
