NDRF teams rushed to Tamil Nadu after the forecast of cyclonic storm warning

Six teams of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) have been deployed in Cuddalore and Chidambaram towns after the forecast of a cyclonic storm over Tamil Nadu-Puducherry coast in the next 24 hours. S Balachandran from IMD Chennai said the storm is expected "to cross between Karaikal and Mamallapuram by November 25 afternoon." IMD has called the storm named “GATI” a “very severe” cyclonic storm.
