Pakistan Islamic Medical Association has warned that the mosques will soon become major coronavirus hotspots as massive local transmission will soon happen to people visiting them. The statement came as the nation-wide tally for reported coronavirus cases went past 12,000 in Pakistan and is expected to rise exponentially in the coming months of May and June. The cases have increased dramatically during the past week.
