London's Heathrow airport loses its title of Europe's busiest airport to Charles de Gaulle in Paris. Heathrow CEO John Holland-Kaye said Paris has overtaken as Europe's largest airport for the first time ever while Frankfurt and Amsterdam are quickly gaining around. Paris welcomed 19.27 million passengers in the first 9 months of the year as compared with 18.97 mn at Heathrow, 17.6 mn at Amsterdam, & 16.16 mn at Frankfurt.
