2 days after the anniversary of the deadliest mass shooting in modern US history, 1 October 2017 massacre, the Las Vegas Hotel, MGM Resorts International has reached a settlement and will provide $800 million to the families of the 58 people who died and others who got injured. “But there’s no amount of money I would take to not get my husband back,” Dr. Heather Melton who lost her husband Sonny in the attack said.
