The US had dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima & Nagasaki in 1945 that left several people to die from burns or radioactive disease. Japan identified numerous victims of radioactive 'black rain' as Hiroshima atomic bomb survivors so that they can receive medical benefits just before its 75th anniversary. Hiroshima district court told 84 plaintiffs should get the same benefits as other victims who lived closer to the blast range.
