Istanbul facing major water crisis due to severe drought

Several major regions in Turkey face the risk of running out of water with the country facing the worst drought in 10 years. The reports of dams drying across the country have emerged. Ankara's mayor Mansur Yavas has confirmed that the city's Omerli dam has had only 110 days' worth of water left in its reservoir. This is the lowest water storage in the last 15 years. Izmir and Bursa are also facing a water crisis.
