ISRO-Coal India to develop satellite based Air Pollution system

Indian Space Research Organization has joined hands with Coal India to develop a satellite-based system to provide air pollution data online to the government and to the company. ISRO's Space Application Center (SAC) was already trying to develop a similar system that is not fully functional yet. Coal India was also developing a tech to measure the air quality and effects of the mines after being fined for pollution.
