India among top 10 climate performers globally: Report

India has retained its place among the top 10 climate performers in the world, according to the Climate Change Performance Index (CCPI) 2025. The country, however, fell two spots from its previous rank but still managed to clinch the 10th position among 63 countries assessed. The CCPI report highlighted India's low per-capita emissions and rapid renewable energy uptake as key factors for its high rank.
