An image from last year's uprising in Sudan after Longtime ruler Omar al-Bashir was overthrown won the World Press Photo of the Year Award. The photo, titled Straight Voice was taken by AFP photographer Yasuyoshi Chiba showing the power of youth and art. In the photo, you can see a demonstrator reciting protest poetry, while a crowd of fellow protesters beautifully illuminate him with the light from their phones.
