In India, the number of dollar millionaires, individuals with a personal wealth of over Rs 7 crore, increased by 11% to 4.58 lakh households at the end of the pandemic-hit 2021, according to a Hurun India Wealth Report 2021. The survey included 350 dollar millionaires. According to the report, Mumbai is home to the largest number of dollar millionaires at 20,300 households. Indian Hotels' Taj emerged as the most preferred hospitality brand.
