Hungary has this year seen its hottest summer since 1901, the country's Meteorological Service (MOSZ) said. Figures show that the summer of 2022, covering June, July and August, had an average temperature of 22.8 degrees Celsius, which is two degrees higher than the summer average of 20.8 degrees Celsius recorded between 1991 and 2020, Xinhua news agency reported.
