Researchers have identified a new flying dinosaur species analyzing fossils found from a limestone quarry in Lebanon. The fossils are more than 95 million years old from a pterosaur, most common form of pterodactyl. Termed Mimodactylus libanensis, the pterosaur is believed to have once ruled the Tethys Seaway, a huge shallow body of water between what would in future become Europe, North Africa, and Southeast Asia.
