First warning shots fired south of Pangong Lake in August 29-30 clash: Report

According to some sources, the first warning shots were fired in the August 29-30 clash between Indian and Chinese troops on the southern bank of Pangong Lake in Ladakh. PLA attempted to close-in to the Indian positions in response to preemptive deployment by the Indian Army. The Indian Army fired warning shots in response to alert the Chinese troops. Similar developments were followed on September 8.
