First time in 130 years, a giant sunfish washed up on a beach in California

News EditorFor the first time in 130 years, a particular species of giant Sunfish has washed up on a beach in California. The sunfish has been identified as a Mola mola, is 6ft 8inches long and weighs several hundred kilograms. However, according to the researchers, it is actually a rare species of Hoodwinker Sunfish in the southern hemisphere and there was only one documented sighting of this in 1889 in the northern hemisphere.
