More people displaced due to natural disasters, climate change than conflicts and war in 2018: Report

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) in 1990, had noted that the very strong impact of climate change on the migration of humans. Right after three decades, a study in 2018 revealed that out of the 28 million internally displaced people in 148 countries, 61% happened due to the disasters and 39% happened due to conflicts and violence. As per experts by 2050, more than 200 million people will need to flee their homes.
