'Displaced' PoK families settled in Jammu and Kashmir to get Rs.5.5 lakh each

The Govt has decided to give compensation of Rs.5.5 lakh each to the families that were displaced from 'PoK', settled in different parts of the country and then returned to J&K. "It has been decided that 5300 families (from PoK), who had settled in regions others than J&K but later came to the state, will also be provided Rs 5.5 Lakh each. This will provide justice to these displaced families," Union Minister Javdekar said.
