DGCA orders probe on Delhi-bound SpiceJet flight for mid-air engine fire

A SpiceJet flight that took off from Patna for Delhi reported a mid-air engine fire and made an emergency landing at the Patna airport itself with just one of its engines being operational. On the incident, Gurcharan Arora, SpiceJet Limited’s chief of flight operations, conveyed that the pilots handled the situation really well. He added that the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) will also probe the matter.
