Mohammed Zubair, a journalist and one of the founders of the fact-checking platform Alt News, was arrested by the Delhi Police on Monday, according to several reports. The Delhi Police has apprehended him on the charges of promoting communal enmity and hurting religious sentiments, added the reports. Zubair has been arrested by the Delhi Police under Sections 153 and 295A of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), reported news agency ANI.
