Trump administration unlawfully ignored many dangerous materials in public use from a safety review, a federal appeals court has ruled. The US Circuit Court of Appeals said Environmental Protection Agency should keep an eye on dangers posed by asbestos, lead and other toxins even if they’re still manufactured. These chemicals are now in the marketplace, in products like home insulation, fire retardant or house paint.
