China plane crash: DGCA enhances surveillance of Boeing 737 fleet in India

Following the crash of a China Eastern Airlines Boeing 737 with 132 people on board on Monday, the DGCA's chairman, Arun Kumar, has increased the monitoring of Boeing 737 fleet operated by SpiceJet, Vistara, and Air India Express. "Flight safety is a serious matter, and we are closely monitoring the situation. In the interim, we're focusing on enhanced surveillance of our 737 fleet," Kumar told PTI.
