In just 50 years, 2 billion to 3.5 billion people, particularly the poor who can't afford air conditioning, will struggle in a climate that will be too hot to bear with, a new study warns. With every 1.8 degree increase in global average annual temperature from climate change and CO2 emissions, people will suffocate in regions too warm day-in, day-out to live without cooling technology, the study has claimed.
