Biggest Solar Flare in 4 years caused radio blackout on earth

On Saturday, July 3, the whole solar system was blasted by a strong solar flare, culminating in the biggest solar flare in four years. The solar flare, which was originally reported by Space.com, came from a sunspot known as AR2838 at about 10:29 AM EDT, or around 8:00 PM IST. This was classified as an X1-class solar event by the US Space Weather Prediction Centre (SWPC). The latest solar flare caused temporary darkness on Earth.
