More than three years after revoking the special status of Jammu and Kashmir, the Union government is reportedly mulling over withdrawing the Indian Army from the Valley entirely, with the exception of the Line of Control (LoC). According to the Indian Express, the government has been considering a proposal in this matter for nearly two years and is now in an "advanced stage."
