The average temperature in Tokyo increased by 2.86 degrees this year and the British Association for Sustainable Sport released a report on Wednesday that expressed worry for the athletes, as there are possible potential health effects to this rising temperature. The Olympics will take place from July-August, during which Japan sees its highest annual temperatures; which will continue to rise as a result of global warming.
