Andhra Pradesh announced its state symbols

After four years of bifurcation with Telangana, Andhra Pradesh (AP) government has announced new state symbols. AP changed the state bird from Indian Roller or Palapitta (state bird of Telangana, Odisha and Karnataka) to Rama Chiluka or rose ringed parakeet while jasmine was selected as the new state flower. Blackbuck and Neem retained as state animal and tree respectively.
