Newly released genomes from Neolithic East Asia, northern and southern China, have figured out a missing piece of human prehistory, the transition from hunter-gathering to agricultural economies, according to a study. The findings suggest population movement played a significant role in the early genetic history of East Asians. These Neolithic humans share the closest genetic relationship to present-day East Asians.
