It adds to the growing evidence that the novel coronavirus can spread through air. Scientists have already found genetic markers of the virus in airborne droplets. It was demonstrated in laboratory experiments, but now Chinese scientists working on real-world conditions claim that they identified tiny droplets containing the genetic markers of COVID-19 from the air in two hospitals in Wuhan where it all started.
