A day after imposing a ban on Chhath puja celebrations along the waterbodies in the state owing to the coronavirus crisis, the Heman Soren-led Jharkhand government took a U-turn and allowed the ceremonies to be held along the water bodies. The decision to ban the ceremonies along the water bodies was taken back after a protest by BJP leaders in the state. CM Soren urged citizens to follow social distancing guidelines.
