The newly developed synthetic enamel mimics the biological composition of the natural enamel covering the human tooth. It has also been tested to be stronger. This development might aid in mending the damaged and irreparable natural enamel. While the new synthetic enamel still needs to be proven safe for human use, there are talks of using the material for more medical uses such as heart conditions and osteoporosis.
