4-months after Diwali, Green crackers still don't exist

SC said that it has asked to ban firecrackers because it believed that an alternative exists. However, 4-months after the firecracker ban, the alternate “Green crackers” still do not exist and the SC appeared surprised to know that. The center has informed the court that eco-friendly fireworks are still not ready or finalized and the National Environment Engineering Research Institute needs at least 3 more months for this.
