1,827 FCRA registration certificates cancelled in last 5 years: MoS Home Nityanand Rai

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai on Tuesday informed the Lok Sabha that a total of 1,827 Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA) registration certificates have been cancelled in the last five years under section 14 of the Act. Bahujan Samaj Party Lok Sabha MP Kuwar Danish Ali asked whether a number of registered or unregistered organizations have been banned by the Government during the last five years.
