Fun Fact! Zero was discovered at different times by different cultures.
The concept of zero as a number was developed at various points throughout history. Despite this patchy acceptance, it is widely recognised that the notion of zero was introduced for the first time about 600 A.D. by the Indian astronomer and mathematician Brahmagupta. Aside from that, Brahmagupta made significant contributions to mathematics and astronomy, and is best known for describing how to compute the cube and cube-root of an integer, as well as for providing methods for calculating squares and square roots.
