Siliserh Lake
This charming Lake of Siliserh, spread over an area of 7 kilometres, is situated in Rajasthan and owes its establishment to Maharaja Vinay Khan in the year 1845. Formerly constructed to supply the town of Alwar with water, this lake houses a striking Lake Palace that was said to have been created for the beloved of the Maharaja. This lake, located some 13 kilometres from the town of Alwar, is a popular picnic spot.

It is believed that the village of Abhaneri was founded by Samrat Mihir Bhoj, who was the king of Gurjar Pratihar.

Four-lane national highway 12 can be the best place in Chandlai Lake, taking a right turn under the overbridge at Shivdaspura.
Ramgarh Lake
Ramgarh is located approximately 35 km from Jaipur and is renowned for its artificial lake. Spread over an area of 15.5 sq km, this lake, known as Lake Ramgarh, was once the city's main source of water. By creating an embankment on verdant hills, this man-made water body was built and now attracts hundreds of tourists each year. The best time to visit it is when it is flooded with water during monsoons and offers an especially enchanting view. It also appeals to birdwatchers because many migratory birds can be seen here. This lake also hosted a rowing event during the 1982 Asian Games.
