Romania

Romania has its share of ancient towers, but it also provides skiing in winter and hiking in summer with stunning alpine landscapes. They have picturesque villages and decorated temples, which are amazing. The millions of birds that can be seen in the Danube delta, where the river empties into the Black Sea, are just as awesome.

Poland

Spain

Vatican City

But sufficient landmarks and activities to do are within its walls to keep visitors busy for several days, so it is best to prioritise your sightseeing. St. Peter's Basilica and the Sistine Chapel are the two must-see sights, but the Vatican Palace has beautiful rooms decorated by the finest artists of their day, as well as priceless galleries in over a dozen museums.

Hungary

From the capital of Hungary, Budapest, properly known as the 'City of Lights', to its many picturesque villages and fantastic landscapes, this Eastern European country evokes a deep sense of history and culture at every stage. Although Budapest is rightfully comparable to cities like Prague and even Paris and is by far the largest tourist attraction in the world, not all the best places to visit and things to do in Hungary are in the capital.
