The Kime robot bartender of Macco Robotics will probably not be able to dispense homespun, sensible advice like a human, but it can certainly pour you a beer. Built by Macco Robotics, Spain-based Seville, Kime is a humanoid food and beverage serving robot. The Kime has a robotic head and torso measuring about 2 square metres and has two articulated arms that can be used to catch and dispense drinks.

Sophia first appeared on February 14, 2016, and made her first public appearance in mid-March 2016 at the South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas, USA. Research Humanoid
Since 2010, mechanical engineers at Tehran Iranian University have been working on Surena robots. Their newest model, Surena IV, is an adult humanoid that is reportedly capable of identifying faces and objects, understanding speech and generating sentences, and can walk at a speed of 0.7 kilometres per hour. It has 43 degrees of freedom and can grasp several different shapes with its dexterous paws. Surena is being used by engineers to study bipedal locomotion, AI, and to draw students to engineering professions.
