You Feel Worthless
The current situation has many ups and downs, and boredom is a result of feeling uncertain, anxious, and worthless. Making concrete plans is difficult because no one knows what the future holds. Setting a realistic goal is difficult when you don't know when you'll be able to do the things necessary to achieve that goal.
You’re Not Taking Any Risks
Playing it too safe doesn't make for exciting stories to tell your grandchildren one day. Take a few risks and live a little. We don't mean jumping out of an airplane. Put yourself in a new situation, let someone else make the decisions, and go with the flow. Make a list of your desired growth objectives and compare the best and worst-case scenarios.
Our Minds Are Constantly Busy, and We Are Overstimulated
When we wake up, the first thing we do is reach for our phones and scroll through them. Then, as we get ready for work, we might listen to music or a podcast. Then we go to work, either driving and listening to music or taking public transportation with earphones in our ears. It is not necessary to fill every void with something – rather, as Eckart Tolle stated in his book The Power of Now, “Realize deeply that the present moment is all you have.”
You Don’t Get Enough Quality Sleep
Wilson Mizner, an American playwright, raconteur, and entrepreneur, put it succinctly: "The average person requires five minutes more sleep." Turn off the technology, stop watching late at night, and invest in yourself by getting those extra minutes of sleep and see boredom getting away from your life!
You’re Watching Too Much TV
Being more concerned about Beth Harmon's next move than what’s happening around you with your relatives and friends. So, if that's where you're at in life, it's no surprise that it's boring. Turn off the screen and go do something in real life!
You’re Not Living in the Moment
If your thoughts are racing back to events in the past or wondering about something that may or may not happen in the future. You lose the beauty of the present moment. And then, "just like that," that moment is gone, and you weren't even present to enjoy it.
You’re Doing the Same Thing Repetitively
It's scientifically proven that changing your routine has numerous benefits, including increased energy, productivity, and creativity. You're also more interesting to be around, which makes sense because you're filling your day with new experiences, which teach you new things, introduce you to new people, and give you a new perspective on life. So, of you will continue to do the same thing repetitively without any change it is very obvious that you will lead a boring life.
