2008 Noida Double Murder Case or The Talwar Murder
Two names that shook India on May 16th, 2008 are Arushi Talwar and Hemraj Banjade. Arushi, then 14, was killed along with Hemraj, 45, and a number of names emerged on the list of suspects. The case aroused a lot of public attention and generated amazing volumes of media coverage. The country continued to conjecture for the longest time on who the killer was: was it her father or her mother? Might it have been the two other servants? We know not. What we now know is that the parents were cleared, and no one really killed Arushi, as of now.

Amar Singh Chamkila
Amar Singh Chamkila was a famous singer, songwriter, guitarist, and composer from Punjabi Punjab. On March 8, 1988, Amar and his wife (who was also his singing partner) Amarjot were reportedly killed by a group of unknown youths along with two members of their unit. His songs' recurrent themes were mostly focused on extra-marital affairs, coming of age, gambling, drug use and Punjabi men's hot tempers.
The Stone man
The Stoneman is a name assigned to an anonymous serial killer by the prominent English-language print media of Calcutta, India, who murdered at least 13 homeless people in that city during their sleep in 1989. ... The Calcutta Police was also unable to ascertain if any of the murders were committed as a copycat assassination.
Sunanda Pushkar
The late wife of the diplomat and politician Shashi Tharoor, Sunanda Pushkar, died in 2014 under unexplained circumstances. A series of intimate messages, allegedly sent to Shashi Tharoor by the Pakistani journalist Mehar Tarar, were posted on his Twitter account two days before her death. Mehar believed that they had compromised her account. But Sunanda said the account was not compromised and that she had uploaded the messages to show how Shashi was being stalked by Mehar. Sunanda suspected Mehr of being an agent of the ISI, too.
The Murder of Scarlett Keeling
The battered and half-naked body of British girl Scarlett Keeling was discovered in 2008 on Anjuna Beach (Goa). When this incident unfolded, Scarlett was on a six-month trip to India with her extended family. The 15-year-old left her home in Anjuna for a Valentine's Day celebration and was found drowning on the beach a few days later. Two Indian men, Samson D'Souza and Placido Carvalho were charged with guilty homicide and sexual harassment, but the two were cleared of the charges in a 2016 verdict because of inadequate evidence when a key eye-witness declined to come to court.
