7 Scariest Horror Films
Horror movies have ironically acted as an escape for many audiences over the years, regardless of the atrocities of our outside world. Their mystical, serious, and often campy approach offers us both a doorway into an unknown universe, as well as a lens into what makes us tick, from the 80s slasher age to the genre-bending 2010s. With the advent of a new decade, we are also entering a new age of discovering what fear means to us. Posted On October 29th, 2020

The Shining
"A writer with a drinking problem, Jack Nicholson 's Jack Torrance, arrives with his family to become the caretaker of a snowed-in hotel flooded with eerie signs, murmuring" redrum "over and over from his own son, a duo of eerie girls hanging out in the halls, and an elevator gushing with blood. Not to mention the catchphrase of the film: "Here's Johnny!" Who says axe-wielding comic actors can't be frightening?
The Badabook
Amelia, who lost her husband in a car accident on her way to give birth to Samuel, her only child, is struggling as a single mom to deal with her fate. They read a weird book in their house about the 'Babadook' creature that hides in the dark parts of their house when things can't get any worse. Even Amelia seems to sense Babadook 's impact and desperately tries to destroy the book in vain.
Paranormal Activity

Goodnight Mommy
The children-from-hell movie is difficult to pull off, which makes it all the more amazing how beautifully this Austrian thriller uncovers the mystery of twin boys (who always wear matching tank tops for some unexplained reason) and their mother whose face is disguised in bandages, and may not be their mother.
Taking Of Deborah Logan
