6 Indian Sitcoms We Miss
We continue to exist in days where comedy is still a crucial component of living a happier life. So how can it be missed when it comes to feature presentations, right? We have come across some of the best TV shows over the years, and all of them have continued to have an influence as well as they are legendary. Posted On November 25th, 2020
Sarabhai Vs. Sarabhai
Sarabhai v/s Sarabhai altered the way comedy and Indian TV shows were viewed by smashing stereotypes in all possible ways. Maya Sarabhai and her mad family, crisp, elegant and impeccably intelligent, have never failed to make you laugh.
Khichdi
Khichdi follows the story of the Parekhs, a Gujarati family living in an old mansion. Many traditionally Indian situations are experienced by the joint family, but they strive to overcome it in the most atypical way imaginable. This is a humorous bunch of individuals who are deeply united in their movement to distinguish themselves.
Hum Paanch
For the gigantic success of her saas-bahu sagas, you may continue to know Ekta Kapoor, but you can not forget that her imaginative eye as a writer was shown by the fact that her debut show was about a chaotic family of five poles-apart daughters and the antics that they practice in Hum Paanch every day to the chagrin of their father.
Shrimaan Shrimati
The premise of two married men who are neighbours who are drawn to the wives of each other may have potentially gone haywire, but thanks to clean comedy and classic plays from the likes of Late, that did not happen. Late Jatin Kanakia. Reema Lagoo, Puran Singh Archana, and Bedi Rakesh.
F.I.R
Except for Office Office, there were not so many long-running sitcoms on Indian TV to be proud of but it too was not a daily soap per se. When a Haryanvi braveheart female cop and her hilariously mad sidekick male constables arrived on our TV screens with F.I.R., the barrier was broken absolutely.
Yeh Toh Hai Zindagi
It was Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi who managed to make the best laughs with stalwart actors before a host of attempts were made to create magic with a simple tale of a married couple and a good-for-nothing brother-in-law.
