Veteran actress Tabassum, who hosted the popular television show 'Phool Khile Hain Gulshan Gulshan' died of cardiac arrest. She was in her late 70s. Her son Hoshang Govil informed Indian Express that she passed away on Friday evening. The report further suggests that Tabassum died around 8.40 PM at a hospital. Tabassum began her career as a child artiste, working in films like Deedar (1951), where she played the younger version of Nargis.
