Uttarakhand's Pawandeep Rajan wins Indian Idol 12

Uttarakhand's Pawandeep Rajan was declared the winner of the singing reality show Indian Idol 12 on Sunday. Pawandeep took home a shining trophy, a car and prize money of Rs. 25 lakh. Arunita Kanjilal and Sayali Kamble were declared the first and second runner-up, respectively and took home prize money of Rs. 5 lakh each. "We congratulate Pawandeep Rajan on this epic win, he has truly made a mark," Sony TV tweeted.
