Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts dies at 80

Charlie Watts, the drummer who provided the backbone to American rock band Rolling Stones' songs for more than half a century, has died at the age of 80. According to the Hollywood Reporter, his publicist, Bernard Doherty, in a statement on Tuesday said that Watts "passed away peacefully in a London hospital earlier today surrounded by his family."
