The shoot of James Cameron's 'Avatar' sequels in New Zealand has been halted over the spread of coronavirus. It means there will be a delay as the shoot would have started in Wellington’s Stone Street Studios in April. Wellington’s Weta Digital will continue with the visual effects to be seen in the film. The much-delayed sequels were due to be completed by the end of 2020 with 4 films being done simultaneously.
