Global star Priyanka Chopra, who has been featured on the 2022 BBC 100 Women list, opened up about pay parity and patriarchal treatment in her initial Bollywood days during an interview with BBC. In a shocking revelation, Chopra told BBC she would get only 10% of what her male co-actors were paid in Bollywood. "My generation of female actors have definitely asked [for equal pay]... But we've not got it," she added.
