Police investigates Inox, Paytm over illegal internet handling fees

A police complaint was filed against Book My Show, Paytm & PVR in March for charging internet handling fees that are illegal under the IT Act 2016 and also violated the RBI's regulations. The CCS of Hyd police initiated an enquiry & will take legal counsel before taking any actions. INOX says it's not connected to the complaint in any way, the fees are collected by PAytm & so it's up to them to respond.
